Booking Flights

There are several ways of booking flights for the various school breaks:
  1. Through a travel agent. In Asia, travel agents often can find the best deals on flights. Here are some recommended by KIS staffers:
    1. daegukangsan@gmail.com (ask for Erin)
    2. soho@sohotravel.comph. # 02-322-1713, ask for Jay or Jongho
      1. Soho has not been as recommended by several recently because of some poor service.
    3. Air World Sky Travel agencyairworldsky@naver.com 02-735-3811, Jay Kim
  2. Through an online website. Kayak, Bing, and other sites are helpful in finding flights, especially back to the US.
  3. Through discount airlines. There are several discount airlines, but the best (at least cheapest + most destinations) from Seoul as of mid-2011 are Cebu Pacific and Air Asia. While the first flight will always take you to the Philippines or Kuala Lumpur, respectively, they connect to most destinations in Asia (including but not limited to Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.) + beyond (Australia, London, etc.) for cheaper than a majority of other options.
